Our story

Every piece begins with a story.

Fable makes calm, unisex clothing for children from birth to ten, in fibres that feel good and last long enough to be passed along.

Why a fox with a book?

In the stories we grew up with, the fox is clever, curious and a little bit wild. We wanted clothes with the same spirit: comfortable enough for the climbing tree, considered enough for a family photo, and free of the rules that say what a boy or girl should wear.

Each season we release a small chapter of pieces in a shared palette, so everything mixes, layers and moves between siblings.

We work with a few family-run workshops we know by name and visit every year.

Second chapters

Send back outgrown Fable pieces for store credit; we clean, mend and pass them on.
